Are you a team player who can collaborate with public affairs, communications and multi-functional colleagues to deliver impactful EU policy communications outcomes particularly in the social media sphere?

You will be:

▪ Supporting the implementation of integrated communications with a focus on policy communications and proactive media/social media activities across all issues of relevance to Cosmetics Europe particularly in relation to the European Green Deal, New Consumer Agenda and Digital transition;

▪ Managing EU issue and media monitoring and reporting systems;

▪ Supporting external stakeholder and media communication by proactively developing policy and communications messages and materials e.g. including reports, social posts/materials, key messagesframeworks, Q&As, background briefings, website content;

▪ Supporting effective internal member communications and helping to drive the activities and coordinate the PA/communications experts including regular meetings and conference calls and extranet management;

▪ Supporting the development and implementation of the award-winning Cosmetics Europe Annual Conference and Cosmetic Europe events.

You have a:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in public affairs/communications including in either in a corporation, consultancy or trade association environment; ideally with knowledge of the European Green Deal
  • Strong understanding of EU traditional and social media and the EU stakeholder environment and digital tools
  • Good understanding of EU policy-making processes and key issues impacting the Cosmetics sector
  • Strong communication (verbally and in written) and interpersonal skills
  • High personal accountability and integrity combined with the ability and experience to communicate to influence decision-making at a senior and strategic level
  • Co-operative working style, high commitment and motivation
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (working knowledge of other EU languages would be
  • an advantage)
  • Work permit for the European Union.
