HOW ABOUT WORKING FOR SAFER EUROPE?

Our client is a European agency responsible for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. The agency is located in Strasbourg, Brussels and Tallinn. CIVITTA is providing external assistance services to the agency and we are hereby selecting candidates for the following position in Strasbourg: Event coordinator (eu-LISA, Strasbourg).

You will be working together with staff members, Units and Departments as well as external parties to ensure the smooth running of the organization of high-level meetings and events taking place inside or outside the premises of eu-LISA Strasbourg site.

Your tasks in more detail are:

  • providing onsite assistance and handling the organisational aspects of numerous regular as well as ad hoc expert-, stakeholder- and visibility meetings and internal engagement events (topical briefings, thematic socialising activities) of the staff;
  • producing visual coverage of the meetings and events (photos, audio-videorecordings, summaries) if so requested by the management or the business owners and the communication team;
  • act as the end-to-end SPOC at the site to assist in supporting the organisation of events for internal and external stakeholders also outside the premises of the Agency as well as their timely coverage;
  • preparing documents such as reports, notes, letters, presentations and minutes of meetings, coordination and management of document flows;
  • participating in planning and organisational work;
  • assist in all planning, execution and monitoring processes;
  • providing input to reports related of eu-LISA;
  • provision of support to tasks related to communication.

Education and experience

You are skilled in organizing and coordinating meetings, events and communication related to it.

You should have a university degree (3 years attested by diploma) and 4 years of experience in event management or communication.

You have sufficient experience in taking and editing photos, recording and editing videos, making visual coverage of events.

You are a team player who maintains a high level of accuracy, loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism. Your English and French are fluent.

You are a national of European Union countries, or national of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
