Our client is a European agency responsible for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. The agency is located in Strasbourg, Brussels and Tallinn. CIVITTA is providing external assistance services to the agency and we are hereby pre-selecting candidates for the following position: Security Support Specialist.

You will be working together with the client’s security team and supporting the coordination and administration of the security incidents and acting as first line responder in case of security incidents. This means providing administrative support for security related procedures and instructions, monitoring and processing security related messages, supporting drafting of tender specifications, supporting the coordination and administration of the emergency response capability, providing support during security incident analysis and risk assessments, preparing documents such as reports, notes, letters, presentations, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You should have a university degree (3 years attested by diploma) and 3 years specific experience in the security field;
  • You are a team player who maintains a high level of accuracy, loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism. Your English is fluent, French is considered as an advantage.

In addition, our ideal candidate:

  • Is able to proof read and create communication, documents, draft emails, etc. as needed in English;
  • Is able to run reports & handle special security and safety-related projects, actions or activities as assigned;
  • Has knowledge of implementing good practice in physical security and managing access control systems, video surveillance systems and other security and/or safety systems;
  • Has capability of handling access requests for the site and communicating with the stakeholders;
  • Has knowledge of performing security and safety risk assessments for the site or special events;
  • Has the capacity of identifying as needed specific vulnerabilities and threats regarding the security and safety of the site and assets;
  • Has knowledge and capability of performing first response in case of an emergency;
