Job description:

This internship is aimed at young professionals, recent graduates, and/or students in the final stages of their university studies, who wish to acquire professional experience in EU policy making. The position offers direct experience working within the innovative medical technology industry, together with the rest of MedTech Europe’s secretariat of 40+ employees. Ad. hoc. MedTech Europe offers a dynamic and international working environment, with regular contacts and interactions with both its members and with other organisations active in healthcare and in EU environmental and chemicals policy.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Holds a university degree or other relevant qualifications in European Studies, Law, Political Science or Economics; or in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences with knowledge of the EU policy framework;
  • Has a strong understanding of EU policies and the functioning of the EU (a must); previous experience with environmental & chemicals legislation is a strong advantage but is not essential;
  • Is fluent in both written and spoken English (verbally and with excellent English writing skills); other EU languages are an advantage;

  • Is a team player who can work proactively and independently.
