This internship is aimed at young professionals, recent graduates, and/or students in the final stages of their university studies, who wish to acquire professional experience in EU policy making. The position offers direct experience working within the innovative medical technology industry, together with the rest of MedTech Europe’s secretariat of 40+ employees. Ad. hoc. Interaction with the EU institutions and other Brussels-based stakeholders is also possible.
The successful candidate will support the projects and day-to-day activities of the Environmental & Sustainability function within the Regulations & Industrial Policy team, with a focus on EU environmental and chemicals legislation. By the end of the internship, the candidate will have had hands-on experience in how the medical technology industry is regulated by, and how it complies with, this legislation. MedTech Europe offers a dynamic and international working environment, with regular contacts and interactions with both its members and with other organisations active in healthcare and in EU environmental and chemicals policy.
