The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is looking for qualified candidates to undertake internships for a duration of 3 to 6 months, starting in April 2020. Working in a multicultural environment, interns will contribute towards the Bank’s mission which is to improve people’s lives, by promoting social integration in Europe. Work assignments directly related to international investment and development banking, as well as in corporate services, will give interns a general overview of the CEB’s objectives and activities.

About CEB:

Eligibility criteria and required qualifications:

  • Age: Be at most 28 years old at the time of the deadline of the vacancy notice;
  • Nationality: Be a citizen of one of the Bank’s Member States;
  • Education: Have at least an undergraduate degree from a university or an accredited institution, obtained within the last 24 months;
  • Languages: Be fluent in one of the Bank’s official languages (English/French). Working knowledge of the other one would be an asset;
  • Work Experience: Applicants to the CEB Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience, but this would be an advantage;

Remuneration Package:

lnterns at the CEB are paid of € 1 200 per month as a flat-rate indemnity to contribute towards living costs, public transportation and accommodation. Travel expenses or other costs are not met by the Bank. As renting accommodation in Paris can prove somewhat challenging and rather costly, intern candidates should be aware of these factors and prepared to seek shared accommodation and/or to have to change lodgings during their internship. Please note that CEB internships are full-time (40 hour week).
