Ecorys has a long track record of assisting the European Commission in public policy communications.
We provide a variety of communications services for our clients, ranging from one-off publications, videos and presentations to fully-fledged campaigns incorporating crossmedia promotion and social media strategies.
Our work covers a wide range of EU policies including education and training, employment and social affairs, civil society, justice and consumers, entrepreneurship industrial innovation and SMEs, agriculture, energy and environment.

The post holder will be responsible for the effective use of financial and other resources in respect of dedicated projects that he/she is involved in, including the delivery of these to agreed budgets.

The job is based in Brussels and is to work as part of a team reporting to the Director (Communications), but to specifically take responsibility for:
This will involve taking part in the delivery of communications activities and events such as competitions, exhibitions, etc. The post-holder will contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies, and production and distribution of high quality, engaging social media content (including community management). Keep on top of new and innovative ways to present digital content and maintain an awareness of tools popular with clients. Manage social media budgets e.g. paid advertising, for client contracts and seek efficiencies wherever possible.
The post holder will contribute with ideas, concepts, and storylines to the creative processes in the production of audio-visual materials.
They will be liaising with other in-house teams as well as partners, external experts and providers (e.g. writers, photographers, printers, designers and production staff) and oversee all stage of the production process and project cycle.
This will include a wide range of editorial tasks including drafting, editing, updating, revising English content for websites (including content management), print and electronic publications and reports for our clients including the European Commission, international organisations in the EU and around the world.
This will involve contributing to proposals in response to new requests from clients on existing Framework contracts or in tenders Ecorys will be bidding for.
The post holder will help also help to develop, where necessary, partnerships with appropriate organisations and identify experts to ensure we have a fully rounded bid.
