The OECD Directorate for Legal Affairs is a small and highly integrated team which provides advice and information on the legal, institutional and procedural aspects of the Organisation’s activities, including the negotiation, interpretation and application of the legal instruments of the Organisation. 

We are looking for an intern for the International Law Division available to start in July 2021 for a duration of six months. The principal function of the selected candidate will be to assist the Legal Advisers working in relation to matters relating to public international law, legal instruments of the Organisation, the Organisation’s relations with non-Members as well as procedural and governance issues.

The profile we are looking for is as follows:

  • A post-graduate degree in law with a specialisation in public international law
  • Prior experience in an international organisation or law firm would be an asset
  • Excellent organisational capacities
  • Sound research skills
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English is essential and a working knowledge of French would be helpful.
