The European Liberal Forum asbl (ELF), the political foundation of the ALDE Party, is recruiting two Non-resident Research fellows.
The two Non-resident Research fellows should be able to commit themselves for one working day per week.
The positions are non-resident for a period of 6 to 12 months and remuneration will be in line with experience.
In order to complete the profiles of the Policy and Research Coordinator and the resident Research Fellow, the two non-resident Research Fellows should have academic credentials and policy expertise in one of the following three areas:
• Economic and Social Affairs, Internal Market
• Environmental Policy, Sustainability and Climate Change
• Justice and Home Affairs, Human Rights, Asylum and Migration
The key responsibilities of non-resident Research Fellows would be to:
• Monitor policy developments in their area(s) of expertise
• Conceptualise workshops and conferences
• Assist in planning, implementing and reviewing ELF publications
• Participate in ELF online activities
Requirements:
• M.A./M.Sc. degree in Political Science, Law, Economics, International Relations, European Studies or similar discipline
• At least five years of relevant experience in policy, think-tanks or research
• A publication record commensurate with the overall professional experience
• The proven ability to write for a variety of different audiences
