GSA AND SECURITY ACCREDITATION DEPARTMENT
The European GNSS Agency (GSA) is responsible for the operations and service provision for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) EGNOS and Galileo. By developing a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for new high-technology industry development, leading to job creation and economic growth.
The Security Accreditation Department provides independent, balanced, timely and comprehensive security risks analysis to support the decisions of the Security Accreditation Board (SAB). The SAB is an autonomous body, established pursuant to the GSA Regulation, which shall take all security accreditation decisions related to the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
Minimum Qualifications
The Information Assurance Officer contributes actively to the fulfilment of the Agency’s regulatory responsibilities related to security accreditation of the systems under its remit, in line with the applicable legislation.
Pursuant to the instructions of the Security Accreditation Board, the job holder’s tasks and responsibilities shall in principle include:
The position may also require participation in launch campaigns to ensure the implementation of the assurance role entrusted to SAB.
The position will require regular travels abroad (also on a short notice) and may require longer period deployment outside EU in case of participation in a launch campaign.
