REHVA, the Federation of European HVAC Associations, founded in 1963, is the European professional umbrella organisation that joins national associations of building services engineers. Today, REHVA represents 120.000 HVAC designers, engineers, technicians, and experts from 27 European countries.

REHVA provides its members with a platform for international knowledge exchange, contributes to technical and professional development, follows EU policy developments, and represents the interests of its members in Europe and worldwide.

REHVA MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

• Advocating health, comfort and energy efficiency in all buildings and communities
• Dissemination of international research results, promoting European engineering knowledge, latest HVAC technologies, and European standards
• Dissemination of EU policy information to promote ambition implementation at national level
• Supporting the education of young HVAC engineers and the continuous professional development of building services professionals
• Acting as the voice of European building service engineers

We are looking for a trainee to assist and support the REHVA team with the following key tasks:

• Assistance to marketing and communication activities
• Website management and social media communication
• Assistance to the production and sales of REHVA publications (books, journal)
• Development and production of promotional materials
• Other assistance in the day-to-day office management

The position involves frequent international contacts and some travelling.

Profile:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in communication, marketing, PR or other relevant fields
• Fluency in English (the working language is English), good command of French is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced internet literacy and good social media skills
• Experience with graphical design is an asset
• Well organised, with capacity to work both in team and autonomously.

What we offer:

A full time 6-months contract under Belgian law (CIP) with benefits, which is extendable based on performance. REHVA offers an international work environment in a small team with the possibility of international networking and strong professional development.
