REHVA, the Federation of European HVAC Associations, founded in 1963, is the European professional umbrella organisation that joins national associations of building services engineers. Today, REHVA represents 120.000 HVAC designers, engineers, technicians, and experts from 27 European countries.
REHVA provides its members with a platform for international knowledge exchange, contributes to technical and professional development, follows EU policy developments, and represents the interests of its members in Europe and worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTON
An important field of our activities is the participation in international research and innovation projects supported by the EU and to disseminate the latest knowledge on sustainable building technologies among practitioners and stakeholders in the REHVA network. To support this activity, REHVA is recruiting a Project Communication and Promotion Officer for the technical and administrative implementation of EU projects, and for promotion and communication activities related to REHVA knowledge dissemination.
Task and responsibilities:
- Implementation of Horizon2020 projects as partner and work package leader
- Technical and financial reporting to the funding agencies (administration, time sheets, budget monitoring in cooperation with the accountancy)
- Organisation of project meetings and dissemination events
- Attending EU policy events, liaising with stakeholders and possible project partners
- Contribution to REHVA promotional and communication activities (promotional agreements, website content & social media management)
Profile:
- University degree in international relations, sustainable energy, or other relevant fields
- Experience with EU project management
- Knowledge of EU policies related to buildings energy efficiency, sustainable energy and the EU Green deal
- Interest in building technologies and energy research to achieve the EU climate and energy objectives
- Fluency in English, the working language of REHVA is English, knowledge of French language is an asset
- Advanced IT user skills, including MS Office, familiarity with website content management systems
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills, ability to multi-task
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Intercultural skills, ability to work in an international environment
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have an EU citizenship or a valid work permit in Belgium
