The Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) is looking to fill a part time (¾) position.

Starting early February 2020.

The Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE), as the official body representing the notarial profession in dealings with the European institutions, is seeking a Project Manager.

The main responsibilities for this positon include activities relating to the management and implementation of the European Notarial Network (ENN) project and potentially other activities in the context of other CNUE projects.

Job description:

  • Implementation of the ENN project co-funded by the European Commission and potentially other activities in the context of other CNUE Action Grant projects;
  • Working with the coordinator of the European Notarial Network and the CNUE Office and assisting in managing the project and related work;
  • Preparing the project and budget implementation;
  • Preparing the yearly applications for the operating grants as part of a partnership for 2018-2021 between the CNUE and the European Commission;
  • Coordinating with the partners in organising the project deliverables;
  • Monitoring and/or revising individual budgets;
  • Preparing general budget reports;
  • Maintaining the technical relationship with the European Commission;
  • Ensuring the European rules for project implementation are respected;
  • Supervising CNUE expenditure linked to the project;
  • Preparing interim and final reports on the project and budget implementation, preparing costs claim at the end of the project;
  • Working with accounting assistance to prepare the project audit;
  • Preparation and co-organisation of meetings in the context of the ENN’s activities and potentially other projects;
  • Regular contacts with the ENN interlocutors and CNUE project partners in the context of EU-funded projects;
  • Participation in updating the content of internet tools developed in these projects.

Profile:

  • University studies;
  • Proven experience in management and implementation of European projects and familiarity with the Commission’s rules on co-funded projects, especially with the new horizon 2020 framework, its budgetary rules and day-to-day use of the ECAS platform;
  • Knowledge of public procurement rules;
  • Knowledge of the European environment and above all capacity to work in a multicultural context with partners and beneficiaries from several Member States;
  • Essential IT skills: management of IT projects; ongoing relations with IT providers ensuring development, hosting, maintenance and understanding of IT solutions and quotes in this area, etc.;
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and good knowledge of French;
  • Organised and meticulous;
  • Available immediately;
  • The ENN project is addressed to legal professionals and therefore although legal knowledge is not a precondition, it would be very welcome.
