MGR Human Resources Ltd, member of MAP S.Platis Group of Companies, is a leading, broad HR Consulting, Training, Recruitment and Temporary Placements Agency. We are looking to hire an E-Learning Officer - interim support for the European Union Agency for Asylum to be based in Malta, HQ.

The position

The successful candidate will work on a secondment basis for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). EUAA is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of support to the TLTS team, including but not limited to the following duties:        
  • Coordination of the work of the Service Desk within the Training and Learning Technologies Sector
  • Provision of training and guidance to the colleagues within the TLTS Service Desk
  • Within Service Desk: user support via the mailbox and issue tracking system JIRA
  • Maintenance of the user database (review, clean-up, role assignments) 
  • Configuration of online attendance records, feedback forms and electronic Certificates of Attendance/Achievement of Learning Outcomes in the Learning Management System
  • Administrative support and coordination in contract management for LMS maintenance (checking of deliverables)
  • Delivery of the EUAA module “Introduction to coaching” and acting as a coach on need basis
  • Drafting summaries and reports (MS Word, PowerPoint)

Minimum requirements 

  • A completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma. 
  • At least one year of pertinent professional experience with relevant tasks; 
  • Thorough Knowledge of English (level C1 in all dimensions as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFRL). 
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, use of internet and web-based applications.

Advantageous

  • Experience in liaising with MS representatives and other stakeholders. 
  • Experience in drafting written outputs (analysis, reports) 
  • Previous experience within an international and multicultural environment.

Remuneration

The position falls in hierarchical Category IV and the associated salary is €44,543.88 gross annually in twelve monthly installments.
