MGR Human Resources Ltd, member of MAP S.Platis Group, is a leading, broad HR Consulting, Training, Recruitment and Temporary Placements Agency. We are currently seeking to recruit a Graphic Designer – interim support for the European Union Agency for Asylum to be based in HQ, Malta.

The position

The successful candidate will work on a secondment basis for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). EUAA is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Responsibilities:

• Develop graphic/visual design and layout for social media, web, publications, newsletters, presentations etc.
• Contribute to and/or support with graphic design projects;
• Support with publication production (reports, booklets, and brochures)
• Design and produce infographics, visuals and/or interactive content for online and offline channels, including social media
• Maintain and implement templates and style guides, provide technical user support.
• Carry out general office management tasks in support of the Team
• Perform any other duties in the area of competence as assigned by the line manager/team leader.

Selection Criteria:

• At least 2 years of proven relevant professional work experience.
• In depth knowledge of Adobe CS suite products, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign
• Qualifications and certifications related to the field of graphic design
• Experience in video editing and/or animations would be considered an asset, but is not essential

Remuneration

The position falls in hierarchical Category III and the associated salary is €33,475.68 gross annually in twelve monthly installments.
