Statistics assistant (Location: Athens)
Job description
The Statistics assistant will work under the supervision of EASO in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Support the collection, processing and validation of data from various sources;
- Support the production of regular and ad-hoc reporting;
- Liaise with information providers to ensure data quality with a particular emphasis on accuracy, completeness and timeliness;
- Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders of the authority to establish an effective information exchange;
- Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
- Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports;
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Demonstrated previous work experience in data management, processing, and analysis;
- Fluency in Greek and in English (oral and written);
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, as well as internet and web-based applications;
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience in MS Excel;
- Excellent intercultural/interdisciplinary communication skills;
- Excellent cooperation skills.
Education & Experience
University degree in the related area;
