PRACSIS, a European affairs communications consultancy, is seeking a junior press officer for German media to carry out tasks such as:

Writing press releases, articles and other information materials to be disseminated to the media;
Establish and maintain contacts with German speaking and EU journalists; answer journalist questions and requests such as interviews with the President of the European Committee of the Regions and members of the European Committee of the Regions;
Plan and organise press conferences when required, including media invitation, management;
Proofing of German texts;
Provide strategic media relations advice and assistance to one of the commissions of the European Committee of the Regions;
Quantitative and qualitative assessment of media impact.

The candidate has at least 2 years of experience as press officer and work experience with European Institutions is an important asset.
