MGR Human Resources Ltd, member of MAP S.Platis Group of Companies, is a leading, broad HR Consulting, Training, Recruitment and Temporary Placements Agency. We are looking to hire a Project Support for the European Asylum Support Office to be based in Malta.

The position

The successful candidate will work on a secondment basis for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Asylum Support Office (EASO). EASO is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Job description:

The main responsibilities of the post concern user management for online information platforms managed by the Information and Analysis Sector of EASO, including Information and Documentation System (IDS) and Query Portal.

Specific tasks include:

  • Creation and maintenance of user accounts, including: real time registration of new accounts and real time removal of obsolete accounts in coordination with EASO ICT, frequent periodical checks of user lists with national focal points in EU+ countries and with managers of thematic EASO networks.
  • Daily support to users, including: user support through troubleshooting with regard to issues with access and possible solutions, password reset, general and specific system navigation and information retrieval.
  • Any communication requiring feedback and follow up with the users, in collaboration with IAS team.
  • Further optimization of user experience through support of dedicated surveys and evaluation.
  • Assistance with administrative tasks relevant to migration of content data for online information systems

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of professional experience in the field of service desk, user support or similar
  • Experience in information platform management would be an asset
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Completed degree, preferably in ICT or similar, would be an asset
  • Ability to use electronic office equipment and applications (word processing, spread sheets, presentations, electronic communication, internet etc.);
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple tasks without close supervision;
  • Very strong service-oriented attitude;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong team working attitude;
  • Strong sense for detail and accuracy in work;
  • Good sense of confidentiality, integrity and discretion.


The position falls in hierarchical Category II and the associated salary is € 24,656.04 gross annually in twelve monthly installments.
