Greenpeace is recruiting a PEOPLE & CULTURE (HR) AND OFFICE MANAGER based at our European Unit in Brussels
You are a friendly People & Culture (HR) and Office manager with at least three years’ relevant professional experience and with notions of finances. You are a committed environmentalist eager to play a role in bringing about fundamental changes for a more beautiful world.
You are open-minded, helpful, passionate about your work and believe that together we make a difference. You care about group dynamics and the wellbeing of your colleagues. You have the skills and determination to ensure that our office keeps running smoothly.

Permanent position (80% or full time)

To manage the day-to-day HR needs of the team; to ensure a pleasant work environment so that Greenpeace European Unit colleagues can work efficiently and effectively for the organisation; to support the Director and the Senior Management Team in the running of the office; to liaise with the external finance people and maintain an overview of the budget.
Keep timely records and pay invoices, monitor the European Unit bank account. Liaise with external bookkeeper and financial controller.
Make sure the physical office space feels cosy and welcoming by making sure repairs are carried out on time and by taking initiatives to make the office space more attractive.
