Senior Legal Research Manager with legal degree and more than 7 years of professional experience in a similar position.
The Senior Legal Research Manager will lead the delivery of top-quality legal projects and tenders to our clients in our core areas of business, notably by:
- Leading the preparation of proposals, the setting up of consortia and developing budgets;
- Managing framework and specific contracts (organising, directing, guiding, and ensuring the quality of the legal desk research and analysis, surveys, interviews, case studies, focus groups, etc.);
- Coordinating staff including briefing, reviewing and coaching;
- Communicating with clients and managing clients’ expectations;
- Delivering advanced analysis of EU law and national implementation of EU law.
What we need:
- Master’s degree in law from an EU27 jurisdiction. Specialisation in EU law is a distinct advantage;
- Fluent (written & spoken) English (additional EU language preferred but not essential);
- Strong self-motivation and an ability to lead and motivate colleagues;
- Proven analytical skills and an ability to tailor the results of the analysis to individual clients;
- Ability to foster the talents of colleagues at VVA by leading by example and cultivating opportunities to learn and grow.

The position is based in Brussels; however, work from a distance could also be considered.
