Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our team. We are recruiting Junior Consultants to start in January 2022.

Afore Consulting is the leading premium, independent European public affairs consultancy providing services to the financial services sector.

Junior Consultants

We are recruiting Junior Consultants who are at the beginning of their career with 2 to 3 years’ experience of Brussels gained from the EU institutions, a consultancy or the financial services sector.

To begin, you will be assisting our consultants with

• Monitoring and intelligence gathering on priority issues;
• Client outreaches and briefings;
• Attending conferences and events;
• Conducting research and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner;
• Preparing reports, newsletters and analysis on financial services issues;
• Organizing various events;
• Client meetings and conference calls.

What we offer

We offer an intellectually challenging and dynamic environment alongside our team of highly skilled consultants. We are moving to new offices in January so you will work in a brand new, bigger office in the heart of the European quarter. The contract will be a full time contract for six months under Belgian law, including lunch vouchers and medical insurance. We will keep this under review and extend the contract should it be mutually beneficial. It is an opportunity to learn about how we work as a consultancy as well as acquiring the skill set needed to be a European public affairs consultant.

Candidate Profile

You will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and now want to hone your skills as a European public affairs consultant. You will have excellent English, be organized and comfortable working as part of a multicultural team. You will thrive working in a dynamic environment. You will have a genuine enthusiasm for public affairs.
