For our Brussels office, we are looking for several Researchers in order to sustain our growth.
The job opportunity: what does an Executive Researcher do?
Our Researchers are a vital part of our client teams and are called upon their expertise in the following domains:
1. Search
- Independently formulate a compelling search strategy.
- Capture and share market insights with internal and external clients.
- Approach key industry players to develop a comprehensive market overview.
- Produce comprehensive reports about potential candidates, target companies and possible market sources for an assignment.
- Participate actively in the search process, in partnership with Consultants, by identifying and screening potential candidates.
- Liaise with colleagues in other offices to leverage our global network.
2. Business Development
- Monitor specific markets, using both research tools and business contacts, and highlight potential opportunities to support the deepening of existing relationships and development of new ones.
- Conduct background research to create support material for pitches and client presentations (and where appropriate, also attend pitches).
3. Knowledge management and sector/practice activities
- Develop thorough domain knowledge, insights and an informed view about markets.
- Contribute actively to the development and propagation of best practices initiatives.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to specialize on specific sectors (industry, healthcare, financial services, consumer goods,...) to develop a real expertise.
Your profile: your personal attributes and skills that make you fit for the role
- Master degree.
- Experience in professional services or recruiting is a plus.
- Ability to digest large amounts of information, quickly identify the salient points and provide relevant insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills, particularly the ability to interact credibly with individuals from all levels of an organization.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce quality, well-structured documentation for our clients.
- You are fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
- Highly organized, efficient and intellectually curious.
