ESICM is a non-profit making international association. It supports and promotes the advancement of knowledge in intensive care medicine, through education, research and professional development.
The role will involve:
- Providing day-to-day support to the Research Manager: e.g.: full administrative support, drafting updates for the website, drafting flyers, database management, logistical organisation of meetings)
- Monitoring research awards applications and managing the online submission platform
- Follow-up of past Awardees
- Assistance in the review process for projects, surveys and trial endorsement
- Follow-up of guidelines endorsement
- Providing support for online surveys
- Assistance with other research-related activities
- Attending meetings in Brussels and abroad
- Management and monitoring of website content
Profile:
- Completed BA or Master’s Degree in administration (or similar field), preferably with experience in non-profit medical or scientific organisations, or
- Completed BA in Biomedical Sciences with an interest in associations’ administrative tasks or project management
- Fluent English with good written (English) skills, another EU language an asset;
- Excellent organisational and drafting skills, including experience in project management;
- Experience and/or an interest in clinical or biomedical research
- Experience with database and data management is an asset
- Experience with content management system (e.g. WordPress) is an asset
- Detail-oriented
- Eligible to work in Belgium
