EU association EWABA, representing the interests of the European waste-based biodiesel industry is seeking to hire a communications executive to support the association in its outreach activities.
Your tasks
- Design and implement communication strategies promoting waste biodiesel targeting a variety of EU and national stakeholders;
- Draft materials for the association’s website and social media accounts;
- Expand the association’s internal communications;
- Support the Secretary General in its outreach activities with EU and national officials and civil society;
- Contribute to the work of the Communications Taskforce of the Association in cooperation with the Board and the General Assembly.
Your profile
- University diploma;
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years with communication matters in a corporation, EU or national association or EU institution;
- Near-native English proficiency;
- Advanced IT skills with an emphasis on developing content and management of websites and social media;
- Knowledge of EU institutions, EU procedures and familiarity with the work of EU associations;
- Experience with EU renewable energy policy and specifically regarding the EU biofuels sector is a distinctive advantage;
- Flexible, constructive and open minded.
