Economic Growth & Sustainability Programme, GLOBSEC Policy Institute
GLOBSEC is a Bratislava-based global think-tank with a liaison office in Brussels, committed to enhancing security, prosperity, and sustainability in Europe and throughout the world. Its mission is to shape policy by generating new ideas and solutions for a better and safer world. During the past 16 years, GLOBSEC has grown into a leading think-tank in Central Europe that organizes the most prominent conferences in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). GLOBSEC aims to bridge the CEE region vis-à-vis Brussels and Washington and supports European and transatlantic ties.
ECONOMIC GROWTH & SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMME is GLOBSEC Policy Institute’s new, dynamic research and advocacy stream, conceived on the premise that economic prosperity and neutralizing the threat from environmental degradation is key to world’s peace and societal well-being. In collaboration with top think-tanks and international organizations – and strategically guided by an experienced international Board and distinguished associate fellows –, the Programme finds novel angles on familiar themes, producing top research insights and shaping economic policy in the CEE region. The Programme targets its policy aims through a range of activities and deliverables, including research reports, a composite index, multi-stakeholder expert strategic discussions, and opinions in high-profile media.
