The EMEIA Public Policy team, based in three different locations across Europe, helps strengthen EY’s brand externally and protect EY’s reputation and license to operate while supporting EY client teams in the region. This involves developing relationships with policy makers, regulators, trade bodies investors, professional bodies as well as leading on many areas of public policy.

The EMEIA Public Policy team is responsible for monitoring regulatory and public policy affairs in the EU but also across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.

Internship Profile

The intern’s activities will be focused on the evolution of policy and regulatory developments at European level. The intern will be involved in the following areas:

  • compilation and analysis of relevant data for the policy and regulatory issues that the office deals with;
  • monitoring EU legislative developments;
  • drafting communications on relevant policy developments;
  • update of the various tools and databases;
  • ad hoc support for short-term specific projects.

Intern Profile

The intern will have to demonstrate:

  • Strong interest in EU and international affairs;
  • Strong team spirit and positive attitude to work;
  • Excellent research and writing skills;
  • Ownership and self-management (prioritization, time management and focus);
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs);
  • Fluency in oral and written English;
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus;
  • Availability of 6 months.
