The next intake of trainees under the EPO Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme starts in September 2021.

This area has opportunities across the transformation of EPO financial processes and tools, automation project evaluation, corporate procurement, the creation of statistics and projects to increase data quality, and much more.

The Pan-European Seal Programme aims to spot IP talent early in Europe's brightest and highest-achieving graduates. In the areas of human resources and business administration, you will be involved in a variety of projects tackling talent strategy, professional growth of our staff, customer relationship management and more.

Apply if you meet the following programme requirements:

  • You are a national of one of the EPO member statesincluding extension states
  • You were nominated by your university, which is a member of the Pan-European Seal network
  • You hold a bachelor's/master's degree or are currently enrolled for PhD studies in a relevant field and obtained your degree no more than two years prior to the date of application
  • You have knowledge of one of the EPO’s working languages (English, French or German) at a minimum level of B1
  • You have organisational, communication and prioritisation skills, respect for confidentiality, problem-solving abilities and you enjoy working within a team

  • The application period will run until the end of  March 2021.
  • The virtual interviews will take place during April 2021.
  • Results will be communicated by the end of June 2021.
  • The programme will start in September 2021.
