As part of the "Towards A European Public Sphere" project, ARTE, its partner public service TV channels and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) intend to encourage the circulation of news content in several languages throughout Europe. This project is co-funded by the European Union.

Job description
- Select ARTE news content and make it available to our partners.
- Choose a selection of topics produced by our partners and coordinate their translation and publication on arte.tv.
- Check and publish the English versions of news content on ARTE in English.
- Contribute to the editorial development of the project and help to evaluate specific initiatives.
- Represent ARTE in European newsrooms and at the EBU.
- Disseminate information to project stakeholders.

Your strengths
- You have an excellent general knowledge background and are alive to ARTE's European mission.
- You are a good communicator and have a genuine ability to motivate people.
- You are able to react quickly in emergency or stressful situations.

Your profile
- Master's degree in journalism, politics, humanities or international management.
- Perfect command of English, both written and spoken, good command of German and French.
- Professional experience of journalism, especially in digital.
- Excellent knowledge of the European audiovisual landscape.

ARTE in Strasbourg offers:

A full fixed-term contract (CDD) from May to the end ofDecember 2021, reporting to the News Directorate and European Development Department.
