Tipik is a Brussels-based consultancy providing integrated communication & legal services to the EU institutions and other public organisations. We are looking to recruit a Legal Project manager in European banking and financial law to consolidate our Brussels-based Legal Department. The position involves the coordination and supervision of legal projects, namely compliance assessments of national legislation in the EU Member States regarding EU legal instruments in the field of financial services legislation.
Commitment: Full-time work
Your tasks will include
- Overseeing project delivery - briefing and providing assistance and guidance to team members and liaising with Legal Experts from all EU Member States, closely monitoring the progress of their work and ensuring consistency in the studies, taking a legal project through to completion, ensuring the highest quality;
- Quality control of services delivered - coordinating the quality assurance measures, ensuring consistency and harmonisation of all deliverables, implementing quality guidelines and approving the deliverables for submission to the client;
- Client relations - establishing and managing day-to-day relations with the client.
Education & Experience expectations
- Education: Master degree in law (from any EU country);
- Specialisation: European Banking and Financial legislation - degree (LLM) or professional experience of minimum 2 years in the banking and financial services sector is mandatory;
- Experience: Min. 3 years of experience in project & team management. Previous experience in managing law and/or policy studies or compliance assessments is an asset;
- Languages: Excellent spoken and written English (C1 or C2);
- Computer literacy: Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
