The position
We are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our growing EU Funding and Representation Department in our office in Brussels. The new resource will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Research Team.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
Main Responsibilities
- Delivery of policy, strategy, and stakeholder engagement/networking services
- Mapping of EU Funding Opportunities together with project idea analysis & assessment of eligibility considering available funding
- Drafting applications to EU Call for Proposals & Tenders
- The daily implementation and management of EU research projects (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe etc.).
- Assist in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information as well as in the elaboration of deliverables and scientific reports.
- Attending Brussels based EU Funding and policy related networking/brokerage events and following-up with matchmaking activities
- Willing to be active in EU networks and Influencing decision makers on future funding priorities and opportunities
- Assisting on monitoring Results & Impact Evaluation of the client services
- Guiding/Coaching client institutions from EU project development to project management of their EU funded proposals.
- Working also in collaboration with the research team on research, proposal writing, and project implementation.
What we are looking for
The selected candidate should have:
- A BSc/MSc degree in Social Sciences, Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). English-written dissertation would be a plus.
- Strong academic performance (e.g. we are looking for top-in-class graduates; please indicate your grades in percentile if possible).
- Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must. Fluency in French is required for networking activities as well as Brussels based project management activities. Other languages are a plus but not a requirement.
- Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g. being able to work across different tasks and domains, with demanding deadlines, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn).
- International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience abroad, experience with multi-national teams and openness towards travelling abroad).
- Communication and social skills (e.g. competence in expressing complex ideas in writing, networking skills, communication and presentation skills, ability to work in diverse teams).
- 0-2 years of work experience in EU Project Development and/or Management
