The post holder will play a key role in the Academy’s policy team, primarily supporting our international policy programme. These activities will require close working with the Academy’s Fellows and other experts and stakeholders, both in the UK and internationally, to identify and analyse key policy issues, in addition to monitoring developments in policy, and supporting the delivery of key parts of the international policy programme. The post holder will be a key part of the Academy’s work to create impact in policy in the UK and beyond through events, consultation responses and major reports.
A team player with a sound understanding of the policymaking process with an interest in or experience of international working or international development, you will have a strong appetite to harness connections across research disciplines, sectors and communities. First-rate communication skills and attention to detail are essential. The post holder will be expected to foster excellent relationships with Fellows, external partners and key stakeholders.
