The European Group for Generic Veterinary Products (EGGVP) is an independent organization representing the industry of generic veterinary medicines in Europe. EGGVP defends the interest of its members in order to achieve a transparent, harmonised, pragmactic and proportionate regulatory environment. EGGVP member companies are focused on the development and marketing of generic medicines for food producing animals and pets. The members of the association discuss the generic veterinary medicinal products policy and share practical experiences; they also strive to assemble their views and opinions to express them towards the competent EU and National authorities. EGGVP was founded in 2002 as a non-profit organization under Belgian law.
