Our future, and that of our children and grandchildren, depends on our ability to rise to these challenges. As the UK emerges from the tragedy of Covid-19 and seeks opportunities for global leadership, there is no better time to give these challenges the attention they deserve. Our mission is to help achieve this - to put long-term resilience at the heart of policymaking. We focus in particular on extreme risks - high impact threats that have a potentially global reach, such as pandemics, risks relating to the unsafe development of artificial intelligence, and the potentially devastating impact of a changing climate. The Centre for Long-Term Resilience is a non-profit company registered in the UK under the name Alpenglow Group Limited.
