Politics Matters Inc. is an independent public affairs consultancy established in 2004 by Peter Tulkens with its main seat in Brussels. Our practice advises corporations, trade associations and NGOs on European and national government affairs issues. Our international team of four advisors has developed a strong track record in working with European Union policy-makers, national authorities and international institutions (esp. NATO and WHO). We bridge gaps between eminent industry or procurement interests and long-term public policy views. Seeking to grasp the broader scope and develop sound arguments we maintain partnerships with universities and experienced academics. Our close involvement with different actors and participation in several European projects allows us to build bridges between diverse stakeholders on some complex issues. Our consultants are highly motivated, creative and result-driven. We seek to provide clients with solutions that bring added value to their business. We advise on strategically important future steps towards European or national authorities and accompany the clients in relevant political actions.
