The Jesuit Social Centre (JESC) is a non-profit organisation that provides and nurtures vision and values for Europe. Our mission is to accompany, serve and advocate for the rights of the poor, the marginalised, refugees and forcibly displaced people. We are motivated by the service of faith and the promotion of justice in European political structures. In a context in which the EU is undergoing the most acute political and economic crisis of its existence, JESC seeks a critical but constructive engagement with the EU. JESC is proactive in building and maintaining relationships within the European Union institutions and with Ecclesial institutions and networks such as the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the EU (COMECE) and the Conference of European Churches (CEC). JESC also coordinates an international ecology network, producing the online publication “Ecojesuit” as well as publishing a monthly journal “Europeinfos” in collaboration with COMECE. JESC is an inclusive and diversity-friendly employer. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
