2.7

Things I liked most:

Kind and sociable colleagues, benefits, chance to travel on missions, budget for training and professional development, holiday, flexible working time

Things could have been better:

Abundant sexual and psychological harrassment, lack of career progression, atmosphere of demotivation, useless work processes that need to be radically reformed, lack of impact

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is a consultative body that gives representatives of Europe's socio-occupational interest groups and other civil society organisations a platform to express their points of view on EU issues. Its opinions are forwarded to the other institutions - the the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission. It thus has a key role to play in the Union's decision-making process. The 350 members are drawn from economic and social interest groups across Europe. They are nominated by national governments and appointed by the Council for a renewable 5-year term of office.
