Things I liked most:
Good working relationship with staff and team. A good degree of independence. Position lined up well with my previous experience and allowed me to improve those skills. Working with and meeting new people.
Things could have been better:
Better compensation and broader responsibilities. Duties remained pretty much the same and were quite mundane. Would have liked to have been challenged more.
Things I liked most:
Working directly within the European Parliament, attending meetings, organizing workshops, researching key issues.
Things could have been better:
A basic pay, other benefits such as meals or language courses (if the job is going to be unpaid), career development, efforts to help expand job potential after the internship, greater responsibilities.
