EuroMed Rights is a network of over 80 human rights organisations in 30 countries. Created in 1997 in response to the Barcelona Declaration and the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, we stand by universal human rights principles and strongly believe in the value of cooperation and dialogue across and within borders. Our mission is to promote and strengthen human rights and democratic reform within the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean relations, the European Neighbourhood Policy and other EU-Arab cooperation frameworks. EuroMed Rights seeks to develop and strengthen partnerships between NGOs in the EuroMed region, disseminate human rights values and increase members’ capacity in this regard. The EuroMed Rights secretariat is located in Copenhagen (HQ) with offices in Brussels, Paris and Tunis.
