Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. In collaboration with more than 100 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
TI’s international secretariat (TI-S) develops cutting-edge research products, collects evidence on what works in anti-corruption, coordinates collective action and leads on regional and global advocacy. We are looking to fill an exciting position that will be based in TI-S and contribute to the work of the Global Anti-Corruption Consortium (GACC) – a ground-breaking partnership with investigative journalists at the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). Taking advantage of advocacy opportunities generated by OCCRP’s in-depth investigations, TI works to disrupt cross-border corruption through policy advocacy and legal action across the world. This work directly contributes to the TI Strategy and global advocacy priorities: tackling of the cross-border flows of corrupt money and protecting political systems from undue influence. Examples stemming from this collaboration include TI’s campaigning and legal accountability work around the Azerbaijani Laundromat, Golden Visas in Europe, and the Gambia Heist investigations together with TI national chapters and other partners.
The Anti-Corruption Partnerships Manager – Investigative Journalism contributes to the policy, advocacy and legal accountability work and steers the partnership with the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and funders of the Global Anti-Corruption Consortium (GACC). This includes information sharing, capturing impact stories for the purposes of internal reporting and external communications as well as strategizing on the future of the partnership. The Anti-Corruption Partnerships Manager – Investigative Journalism works in close cooperation with the TI-S Fundraising Team to identify and seize fundraising opportunities, as well as other TI-S teams, to capitalise on available resources and ensure coherence with priorities.
