Key responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the Roma Health Project:
    • Organising meetings/workshops/webinars;
    • Managing communications with the RHN Drafting articles, statements, input for consultations;
    • Carrying out desk research (policies, reports, etc.);
    • Collecting data, e.g. for the Health Inequalities newsfeed;
    • Preparing posts for and running social media campaigns;
    • Joining the Policy Coordinator (if possible) meetings with various stakeholders, including EU policy makers.
  • Support activities related to EPHA’s Health Inequalities advocacy work:
    • Organising meetings/workshops/webinars;
    • Carrying out desk research (policies, reports, etc.);
    • Preparing member surveys.

Job qualifications:

  • MSc student/graduate, preferably but not necessarily in an area related to (public) policy, advocacy, public health, humanistic or social studies;
  • Maximum 1 year working experience;
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, to present and produce high-quality written outputs;
  • Strong project management/organisational skills to keep the overview of tasks and prioritise;
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills to independently engage the RHN;
  • Culturally sensitive to build trust relationships with the RHN and other stakeholders;
  • Affinity with Roma and/or other vulnerable groups is preferred.
